The aim of this project is to simplify public procurement procedures and increase transparency for public expenses in the Region of Sicily (Italy).
The consortium will implement the European Single Procurement Document (ESPD) and will integrate it in the eProcurement platform of the Sicilian Region.
The ESPD service will be connected to eCertis, allowing the identification of the different certificates and attestations requested in procurement procedures across Europe.
A Contract Register will also be developed, taking into account the requirements of the civil society, represented by Parliament Watch Italia (PWI).
Sicilia Digitale is the project coordinator and will ensure the quality and timely deployment of the solutions. The City of Messina will also benefit through the implementation of the above mentioned solutions in their eProcurement platform.
